Home Energy Audit Rebates
🏠 Whole Home Efficiency Program
Bundle multiple upgrades and save more. Customers can receive larger attic insulation and washer/dryer rebates, plus a 25% bonus on all standard rebates when three or more qualifying measures are installed within two years of enrolling.
Eligible measures include: heat pumps, insulation, air sealing, water heaters, and more. Attic insulation rebate structure differs under Whole Home Efficiency — see xcelenergy.com for details.

Colorado HEAR — Home Energy Rebates
Income-Based Home Energy Grants — Up to $14,000
Colorado HEAR (Home Energy Rebates) is a state-administered program offering grants to income-qualified Colorado households. Unlike Xcel rebates, HEAR is based on household income and does not require a fuel-burning system. Funding is limited and subject to availability — we’ll confirm your current eligibility before you buy.
These can often be stacked on top of Xcel rebates, significantly reducing your net cost.
Power Ahead Colorado
We handle the Power Ahead application for you and credit eligible rebates upfront wherever the program allows. See the full Power Ahead Colorado guide →
Commercial Heat Pump Rebates
Xcel Energy offers custom and prescriptive incentives for commercial, multifamily, and industrial heat pump and HVAC projects — including the commercial Mountain Energy Project in eligible ZIP codes. We scope, size, and file the paperwork for property managers and business owners across the Front Range. Explore commercial heat pump services →
