Program Rules & Eligibility
- ● Heat pump rebates require removal of existing natural gas equipment that performed the same work previously.
- ● Customers must get retail or firm transport natural gas service from Xcel Energy; electric-only customers do not qualify.
- ● To receive promotional extra incentives for audits, customers must be combo electric and gas or natural gas only from Xcel Energy.
- ● "Early Retirement" is defined as operational equipment 10 years or newer.
- ● Customer and contractor must certify equipment was operational at time of removal.
- ● Rebates for gas-fired boiler upgrades are NOT available for premises with hydronic baseboard heating distribution systems.
